SITE COORDINATOR: Josh Begley (8th Year)
ABOUT JOSH: I graduated from Wheaton College in Norton, Massachusetts with a political science major and general education minor. I’ve held several positions in the education field, most recently as an inclusion aide in the Newton Public Schools, a teacher assistant at The Montessori Children’s House of Wellesley, and a lead counselor at Broadmoor Wildlife Sanctuary’s summer camp program. I am a proud member of the “after school movement” and feel privileged to help children learn and grow through play every day. In my free time, I enjoy watching baseball, playing softball, kayaking, and hiking.
TEACHERS: Rebecca Jenness (5th Year) & Rose Hart (2nd Year)
ABOUT REBECCA: I am a certified teacher and have taught elementary school students for many years. I met my husband when we both worked at Old Sturbridge Village in central Massachusetts. He was an ox driver and I was a milk maid! We have 3 children. Our eldest son is an EMT, our middle daughter is a senior in college studying Mandarin and Arabic, and our youngest daughter is in high school. Originally from Bulgaria, she has introduced us to Bulgarian words, food, and culture.
ABOUT ROSE: I’m excited to be entering my second year at WCCC. I am a graduate of Stonehill College and have been in the education field for many years.
FLOATING SITE COORDINATOR: Kristen Justice (1st Year)
ABOUT KRISTEN: I grew up in Medfield and attended East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Family & Community Services. My experiences include working as a Program Coordinator within a Child Care Resource and Referral agency, a School Social Worker, and as the Kindergarten Coordinator at an after school program in Newton.
FLOATING TEACHERS: Neddra English (1st Year) & Haley Smith (1st Year)
ABOUT NEDDRA: I am from Boston, Massachusetts and I currently reside in Waltham. I have been working with children for over 18 years. I love sports, dancing, Zumba fitness, music and cooking. My main focus in life is trying to help others as much as I can. Summer is my favorite season and I enjoy traveling the world.
ABOUT HALEY: I am a recent graduate of the University of Maine, where I received a degree in a Parks, Recreation and Tourism. Working with children has always been a passion of mine, and throughout college I worked at summer camps and after school programs. Upon graduating, I spent a summer with the Girl Scouts as an assistant director of camp programs across Montana and Wyoming. Now I’m back in Massachusetts, and looking forward to all the adventures to come here on the East Coast!
