This is my fourth year working at WCCC! I am excited to be back as the Site Coordinator at Bates Elementary School! This past year, I was a Teacher in the Red Room at WCCC’s Early Childhood Program and will continue as a Combination Teacher (in the Infant Two classroom) this year. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Family & Community Services from East Carolina University. I have over 15 years experience in the child care field and my other work experiences include being a Contractor/Family Assistance Specialist for The Massachusetts Army National Guard and the Program Director for a Day Habilitation Program. I am looking forward to a great year!
This is my 8th year working at WCCC! I have been so lucky to have worked at the Hardy, Sprague, Bates and Upham sites over the past 8 years. I have a Masters degree from Lesley University in Elementary Education and completed my student teaching at the Hardy school. In addition to WCCC, over the past 6 six years I have worked as a Special Education teaching assistant and Paraprofessional in the Wellesley Public Schools. I love working with children and I have missed my WCCC family so much this past year! I’m so excited to be back and to have a great year at Bates!
This is my first year with WCCC and I am so excited to join the ASP team! I am originally from Chicago and relocated to New England in 2014. I have been a paraprofessional in the skills program at Upham for 4 years. Outside of work you can find me camping or hiking.
This will be my 5th year at WCCC! And I’m looking forward to the new school year! I graduated from Mass Bay Community College with a degree in human services. I have worked various different summer camps the past couple of summers in Wellesley! In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I also love going to the gym, playing golf and basketball. I also love watching sports, especially basketball! I’m excited to start the school year at Bates After School.
This will be my 24th year at WCCC. I started as a floating teacher and then settled into the Yellow Room where I have had the pleasure of working with a terrific staff. I will also be helping out at the ASP a couple of afternoons a week. Now I would like to tell you a little about myself. In 1997 I graduated from Assumption College with a B.A. in Social and Rehabilitative Services with a concentration in Speech Pathology. Before arriving here at WCCC, I spent a year at the League School of Boston teaching children with Autism. I currently reside in Shrewsbury with my beautiful wife Darcy, our two wonderful boys, Travis who will be heading into eighth grade this year and Tyler who will be entering fourth grade and our two dogs, Gunner and Nova. I am an avid fisherman who also enjoys golf, reading, cooking, and spending time with my family and friends. I look forward to meeting all of you and having another great year.
